A Musical Homecoming: SB19 and Acer Team Up for the Heartwarming #AcerTahanan Campaign

They say home is where the heart is—but more than that, it’s the place we long to return to after time away. In a fast-paced world shaped by constant change, technology, and screens, people still yearn for one thing that never loses meaning: home.

This holiday season, Acer embraces the idea of “tahanan,” the Filipino word for home, rooted in tahan, which means to be comforted or at peace. Through Acer Aking Tahanan, the brand creates a digital space filled with warmth, creativity, and connection. With technology that feels personal and intuitive, Acer transforms everyday moments into a comforting sense of homecoming.

The campaign’s music video stars Acer brand ambassadors SB19, filmed across various locations in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Each member is shown on their own creative journey, exploring different parts of the city while staying connected through their Acer devices—their shared digital tahanan. Intimate scenes unfold, from Justin revisiting cherished memories to Pablo making a quick check-in call, highlighting how connection transcends distance.

As the story progresses, Pablo sends a new song idea to Stell, Justin, Josh, and Ken. Drawn by creativity and connection, they begin moving toward one another. Their individual paths eventually lead them to the Kaohsiung Music Center, where they reunite in person—reinforcing the message that home isn’t always a physical place, but a bond you carry wherever you go.

To bring the music video to life, Acer Philippines collaborated with the Kaohsiung City Government, allowing filming at iconic landmarks such as the Kaohsiung Music Center, Dragon and Tiger Pagoda, and Pier-2 Art Center.

“The song #AcerTahanan captures how we Filipinos feel about home,” shared Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines. “We will always return to our tahanan because it’s where we feel most comfortable. It may take years or even decades, but we always find our way back. At Acer, we’re proud to be your digital tahanan—providing the right technology for your everyday needs.”

Acer’s lineup of consumer notebooks is designed for daily productivity, entertainment, and communication, offering the perfect balance of performance, portability, and value. Meanwhile, Acer and Predator gaming laptops push performance further with modern AI features and advanced graphics.

To celebrate the season, Acer is offering a holiday promotion with up to ₱20,000 in discounts and/or SM Appliance Center vouchers when purchasing participating Acer consumer or gaming notebooks until January 18, 2026.

Customers are required to register their purchased product for warranty within one week via warranty.acer.com.ph. Once verified, qualified buyers will receive their eGift Voucher via email and SMS, which can be redeemed at their chosen SM Appliance Center.

The promotion applies to purchases made from Acer Concept Stores, Acer Authorized Resellers, and the Acer Philippines Online Store.

Listen to “Tahanan” by SB19 on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music, and watch the full music video on the Acer Philippines YouTube channel and Facebook page. For more updates, follow @AcerPH on social media or visit www.acer.com

EastWest Rural Bank Marks 12th Anniversary with Outreach Program for Schools in Remote and Typhoon-Hit Areas

EastWest Rural Bank (EWRB) marked its 12th anniversary with an outreach initiative that reached schools located in far-flung communities and areas affected by Typhoons Tino and Uwan. The program ran from November 5 to 20, 2025, covering selected public schools across Regions 5, 6, 7, and 11.

A total of 590 learners and 49 teachers received Jollibee meals, drawing and coloring materials, rice packs, and EWRB giveaways as part of the Bank’s anniversary activities.

According to Sheila Marasigan-Bajado, President of EastWest Rural Bank, the activity shows the Bank’s intention to stay present in the communities it serves:

“Our team wanted to celebrate the anniversary by reaching out to schools that needed a boost after the recent typhoons. We are grateful to the teachers and school heads who welcomed us and allowed us to spend time with their learners.”

Teachers, school heads, and barangay representatives assisted in facilitating the distribution activities, which were conducted on-site in each community.

Overall, the outreach covered five public schools across four regions: Lipata Elementary School in Masbate and San Isidro Elementary School in Cataingan, both from Region 5; Cudian Elementary School in Brgy. Cudian, Ivisan, Capiz in Region 6; Combado Elementary School in Purok Pagtinabangay, Combado, Bogo City in Region 7; and Cayawan Elementary School in Manay, Davao Oriental in Region 11.

The anniversary outreach continues EWRB’s broader efforts to stay connected with schools and families in the countryside, especially during periods of recovery after natural calamities.

About Meaningful Living Journal

Meaningful Living Journal is a personal lifestyle blog about finding balance, intention, and small wins in everyday life.

This space was created to document real stories. Not the highlight reel kind, but the honest ones. The kind that happen between responsibilities, bills, family life, work deadlines, and quiet moments of reflection.

Here, meaningful living does not mean having everything figured out. It means showing up even when things feel uncertain, choosing better habits one step at a time, and learning how to live with purpose despite life’s imperfections.

Why Meaningful Living Journal Exists

Life today moves fast. We are constantly surrounded by noise, expectations, and comparisons. Meaningful Living Journal was born from the need to slow down and focus on what truly matters.

This blog is a place where:

  • Progress is celebrated, even when it’s slow

  • Financial struggles and small victories are talked about honestly

  • Motherhood, work, wellness, travel, and daily life intersect

  • Choices are made with intention, not pressure

It’s a reminder that a meaningful life is built through everyday decisions, not grand gestures.

Behind the Journal

I’m Mommy Levy, a mom, freelancer, content creator, and long-time blogger. I write from lived experience. I share wins, challenges, and lessons learned along the way.

I believe that meaningful living is not about perfection or wealth. It’s about making conscious choices, learning from setbacks, and building a life that feels grounded and real.

Meaningful Living Journal is not about pretending life is always okay. It’s about navigating it honestly and finding purpose in both the good days and the hard ones.

Let’s Live Meaningfully, Together

If you’re navigating life one decision at a time, learning how to manage your finances, finding balance in motherhood, or simply trying to live more intentionally, you’re in the right place.

Welcome to Meaningful Living Journal.
This is where real life meets intentional living.
